Students
I have an MBO-background. Can I register with Studentstock?
No, we chose to make an initial start with students from HBO and academic studies, but there may be possibilities in the future.
I have a question concerning my privacy. Is my personal information available to anyone on the Internet?
Everyone can read your profile on internet. If businesses want more information and wish to download your track record - with your name, contact details, CV and assessment results - they need to be registered with Studentstock. Furthermore, they have to make a payment before they may download your track record.
For how long is my registration is valid?
You de-register as soon as you have found a position or are no longer available to employers for different reasons. If your record is downloaded often, your registration will be valid until the moment you have found a job. If your track record does not, or hardly, gets downloaded, Studentstock will de-register you after six months. Naturally, we will notify you of this in good time.
If I am unhappy with my profile at the end of the recording day, can I then stop the procedure?
Of course. You determine whether you want to publish your information on Studentstock. At the end of the recording day you may decide whether you would like to give it another try.
Can I de-register any time I want?
Yes. The money you have earned with your track record will then automatically be sent to your account.
If I am approached by a company, can I refuse an interview?
Yes, you can. At Studentstock, it is you who determines which employers you'd like to talk to.
This is up to you to decide. D-day can help you to make a choice for a future employer - but of course you can make this choice without assistance.
Businesses
How much will it cost me to register with Studentstock as a business?
Registration is free. You only pay the credits when you download a profile of interest to you.
Why is it that the cost of a track record download is higher after a few weeks?
This is because the market value is dependent on the demand. Therefore, the amount of credits of a track record may vary. Studentstock functions like an online stock market; if the demand is high, the market value increases.
Is that not difficult for students whose profiles never get downloaded?
It is not nice, but it will give the students clarity. They will realise that action needs to be taken if they want a good job. In those cases, Studentstock will refer the student to an agency which will assist them in improving their position on the job market.
If I have approached a student who then does not accept my invitation to an interview, will you give me a refund?
No. You pay the amount of credits, regardless of the end result.
