StudentStock The Battles
"Where Talents and Companies Meet, Compete and ...... Innovate!"
StudentStock organizes various Battles for senior Bachelor/Master students. During the Battles, students are asked to create innovative solutions for actual cases submitted by renowned companies of a certain sector. By entering the competition, students have the chance of winning nice Prizes. In an informal, interesting and competitive atmosphere, students and companies have the opportunity to meet and get to know each other.
The Battles have two main goals; proactive recruiting and development. The duration of a Battle is a complete day. And best of all, it is entirely free for students!
International NRG Battle
The International NRG Battle is a competition where studentsteams work on creating innovative solutions to current problems of various companies in the fields of energy transportation, solar energy, bio-based energy, energy consumption patterns, energy law, sustainable energy, energy policy and communication and energy storage, energy and autarkic.
A jury of experts will assess the teams based on three criteria. The criteria are: novelty, utility and non-obvious of character.

International Health Battle
The International Health Battle is a competition where studentteams compete for the Health Innovation Prize, by working on the most innovative solutions to problems of various companies in the fields of Life Sciences, Food & Nutrition, Medical Technology, E-health and Healthy Lifestyle.
A jury of experts will assess the teams based on three criteria. The criteria are: novelty, utility and non-obvious of character.

International Finance Battle
The Finance Battle is a yearly recurring event where students and companies, meet, compete and innovate finance issues.
In 2011 The Finance Battle will be at the World Trade Center in Amsterdam. Participation for students is free of charge, including food and drinks. The Finance Battle is a great opportunity for you to meet with renowned companies in Finance and work with students from various backgrounds on important Finance issues, like retirement management, trading venue, finance and sustainability and financial logistics. The cases are actual issues in the company. All student teams receive support from an expert from the finance companies. Together with your team and coach you will work on the most innovative ideas in finance all day long.

Participate as a student!
Are you a college- or university Bachelor or Master student looking for a chance to present your talent to businesses in a specific sector? Then participating in one of the Battles is definitely something for you! During the Battles you work together with 100 other students on actual cases submitted by companies operating in a specific sector. At the end of the day your team presents the solutions to an expert jury.
In order to register as an individual participant or as a team, please visit the website of the specific Battle, or create a StudentStock account and sign up for the Battle! Check the Battle website for more information about the cases, the participating companies and the expert jury.
Participate as a company!
Your company can participate in the Battles and submit your own case to the competition. You will be asked to provide a case study on a current issue that fits the theme of the Battle. The Battles offer the ultimate opportunity for your business to get acquainted with talented college- or university students who will find innovative solutions to your issues.
Your company will receive exclusive access to the Talent Pool corresponding to the specific Battle, where you can find students who would like to work in your sector of business. Afterwards you will receive full access to the Talent Pool of students who participated in the event, for recruitment possibilities. StudentStock does not charge any fees for this option. At the end of the day you will have the opportunity to network with the other companies and the students who participated in the event.
Promotion
The promotion of the various Battles includes the usage of the largest nationwide online student network in the Netherlands; BOM Media. More than 100 student-related websites will show the details of your company. Your company is thus shown more than 10 million times amongst the student audience. In addition, a newsletter will be distributed amongst the entire database of StudentsMedia and flyers and posters will be spread in the biggest student cities.
